Who Do You Trust?

                                                            Who Do You Trust?

When you are making decisions about your health and what you are going to put in your mouth there are a few things you might want to consider... 98% of VITAMIN AND supplement manufacturers do NO clinical research on their own products. Shaklee ALWAYS does clinical studies before they release any product to the marketplace.

In fact, Shaklee has over 100 randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind studies published in peer-reviewed medical journals -- more than the sum-total of all other manufacturers combined. Who do YOU trust? 90% of the ingredients used by other manufacturers come from China and 95% of manufacturers do little to no quality control on their products. Shaklee does 83,000 tests per year – over 300 on just the raw materials! Our quality control tests found carcinogenic fungicides in Ginseng coming from the Pacific Rim. We rejected the crops out of hand for 2 growing seasons rather than sell an unsafe product and yet everything we rejected was bought by other manufacturers and sold to the public! So my guess is either they don't test or they test but don't care. Who do YOU trust? Independent “Nutritionists” have no control and no way to test for contaminants - and certainly not the 300 tests done by Shaklee on just the raw materials alone.

 Who do YOU trust?

A lawsuit has been filed in California because the top 10 brands of Omega-3 contain PCBs and/or mercury (GNC, CVS, Solgar, etc.) That will never happen with Shaklee because we test for all of those things before we even begin the manufacturing process. Who do YOU trust? Of 324 prenatal & children’s vitamins tested by FDA – 100% contained lead! Shaklee vitamins have never been contaminated by lead. Who do YOU trust? Consumer Reports says EAS Myoplex Original Dark Chocolate Shake and two versions of Muscle Milk chocolate drinks, had high levels of arsenic, cadmium and lead. Shaklee of course tests the raw materials to assure those types of contaminants never end up in our products .

Who do YOU trust?

Of 58 brands of protein drinks tested – 25% had steroid contamination, 11% for other banned substances. That's why hundreds of world-class athletes use Shaklee - they don't have to worry about failing a drug test.

 Who do YOU trust?

Consumer Reports singled out the following “dirty dozen” dietary supplement ingredients due to potential health risks ranging from cardiovascular to liver and kidney problems: aconite, bitter orange, chaparral, colloidal silver, coltsfoot, comfrey, country mallow, germanium, greater celandine, kava, lobelia, and yohimbe. And the FDA has warned about at least eight of them, some as long ago as 1993 and yet all of these continue to be sold to the American public. Shaklee products have never and will never contain these ingredients because we do our homework first. We ignore the hype and do the science!

Who do YOU trust?

In the "Landmark Study" conducted by University of California, Berkeley School of Public health, they found that people taking other brands of multivitamins had a higher incidence of Coronary Heart Disease, Heart Attacks, Stroke and Type II Diabetes than people who took nothing! The same study showed that people taking Shaklee supplements for 20 years or more were dramatically healthier than people using other brands. The American Pharmacy Association estimates that the average American under 65 has 12.2 prescriptions per year - the average American over 65 has 19 prescriptions written per year. The average age of the Shaklee group in the "Landmark Study" was 63 and they had an average of only .6 prescriptions per year!
